Training Objectives

 

To learn the skills of language interpretation for simultaneous and consecutive interpretation in medical and court settings.

 

Through this training, Social Workers will learn the skills and knowledge to access language interpreters for their clients with Limited English Proficiency (LEP)

To help bilingual Social Workers to become proficient in assisting their clients with medical or legal supportive services.

How It Works​

This training is to improve your interpreting skills, not your language skills

​

You must already be fluent in the language you want to interpret in

 

When you sign up, we will contact you for the next available training

 

Once you complete the training, you will join a pool of interpreters trained by us, and we will contact you if and when we have a job available
